The Grace Of God (Part 1)—Linked via Facebook
Speaker: Pastor Barbara

God’s grace is active and it’s powerful. It is available to all, especially to His children. Why do I call this out? Because we know that God is gracious to those who have yet to accept Him because He desires that they come into knowledge of Him. That being said, He is not doing that selectively. Anyone who calls on Him and accepts His Son as their personal Savior will be the recipient of eternal life. It is a free gift because of God’s amazing grace.

    Scripture: Hebrews 4:14-16

We sometimes allow ourselves to get caught up more in our situations and less in the solution. Part of our Kingdom experience is to understand the honor we have in approaching the throne of grace. To go boldly before God is to approach Him confidently that He will be merciful, forgiving, and benevolent in answering our every need.

    Scripture: Revelation 13:8

The mark of the beast is something that many people are curious about but have great reservations in trying to fully understand. Sadly, some people many of which are sincere Christians find themselves terrified feeling that they will be forced to take the mark of the beast in the near future.

    Scripture: Ephesians 6:11-17

This evening I want to share with you how to win against Satan’s Battle Tactics. Remember, he comes to steal, kill and destroy. He wants to kill the Word within us before it can take root and produce fruit. I have shared with you some of his tactics, but not all. What I am going to share with you this evening will work against ALL of his tactics.

Scripture: John 10:10, Acts 4 (NKJV)

I want to share with you the definition of the word threat. Threat is defined as, the declaration of intent to cause harm; a sign of something bad. The threat of harm can include physical, emotional, and mental pain. Keep in mind that a threat is only viable if the person making the threat has the power to carry it out. Today Christians are threatened into silence by society we no longer speak against what society believes when their beliefs contradict the Word of God, and we are silenced by the threat of our past and current sins coming to light.

    Scripture: Mark 4:18-19 (NKJV)

The security of knowing our place in God only comes through the Word of God and when that Word is taken from us our security is shaken and/or lost. Now, contrary to afflictions and persecutions which are external, deceitfulness and lusts are internal; they come from inside us. These are the toughest to stand up against because they come from our flesh the inside.

    Scripture: John 10:10 (NKJV)

The deceitfulness of riches is a powerful tactic that Satan uses to destroy Christians and I am not just talking about weak Christians who do not study the Word of God. Any Christian who has not established in their heart who is their true master is at risk of being deceived by riches. We cannot serve God and money, we must choose. The only way that we can make this choice and stick with it is to have the Word of God alive and growing within our hearts.

    Scripture: John 10:10 (NKJV)

Many people use the majority of their funds to feed their selfish desires which leaves them little to give to the work of God. This is a form of not being faithful with unrighteous wealth and being deceived by riches. How we use our finances is a test God uses to assess whether or not we are ready for the higher levels of blessings, prosperity, responsibility and authority and sadly, many Christians are failing this test.
