God’s Answer for Life’s Uncertainty
Speaker: Pastor Barbara
Scripture: Joshua 5:10-12 (NKJV)

There are times in life when God seeks to change the means of His provision to teach us lessons on our reliance upon Him.  God’s faithfulness to provide is seen and shown when the manna stops, the road ahead seems uncertain and the promise awaits. God stops the manna to alter our appetites.  God stops the manna to reform the focus of our faith. It requires a faith that plants (works).  It request a faith that is patient (waiting).  God stops the manna to add new depth to our delight.

    Keep On Moving
    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
    Scripture: 2 Samuel 20:9-13 (NLT)

Martin Luther King said, if you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward. The important thing that we must understand is that we must KEEP ON MOVING.

Is Your Worship For Real Or Corrupted
    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
    Scripture: John 4:23-24 (KJV)

Much of what we call and do as worship today has degenerated into a form of entertainment, involving anything and everything except offering a sacrifice of praise and reverence to a Holy God. Although there are all different kinds of styles and shapes and forms of worship, we must ensure our focus of worship is on God, on His holiness, and His majesty. Spiritually and emotionally, we must be moved to a sense of awe and reverence for God, if that is not done then all that was done was entertainment and bodily exercise.

    It’s Your Choice
    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
    Scripture: Joshua 24:15 (KJV)

Henry Ford said, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can't – you're right.” I personally believe he came to this conclusion after reading the first part of verse seven from Proverbs chapter twenty-three. It says, “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he….” Proverbs 23:7a In this message I want us to understand that the choice is ours as it relates to how we think about our situations which determines our responses to them.

    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
    Scripture: Ephesians 1:17-19; Matthew 26:38-44

Sometimes it seems there are times when God is trying to get our attention. What if God is trying to get your attention? What if God is calling your name? What if God is trying to help you take a turn in life right now? In this 21days of consecration, it is not only possible but probable that God will speak into your life and use this as a turning point.

Thy Will Be Done In Me In 2021
    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
    Scripture: Matthew 26:40-45 (KVJ)

As we enter this final Sunday of 2020 we have faced a year like non other.  The pandemic hit and changed life as we had known it.  We knew people died everyday however the massive numbers that have died as a result of COVID-19 has been unimaginable.  Church doors closed and online services have become the norm.  Even with the doors open many have not returned to the Lord’s house for many reasons. As we count down to 2021 one thing is for sure we all need to cry out as Jesus did…  THY WILL BE DONE IN ME IN 2021!

Let Us Truly Adore The Lord
    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
    Scripture: Matthew 2:1-2; 7-11 (NLT)

The Holy Spirit creates within us a true desire to adore the Lord.  Have you ever really thought about what adoring the Lord truly means?  This time of the year can easily become commercial and the true meaning of Christmas ignored.  Many make it more about gifts under the tree rather than true adoration and worship of the Lord our God.  Today I challenge you to truly worship and adore the Lord.

    What If Christmas Doesn’t Come
    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
    Scripture: Galatians 4:19-20

My prayer is somehow, this Christmas, God's spirit will come upon us, and change us, and Christmas will really happen. I believe God has been moving us in this direction as we have lost so much of our freedom to move around - travel - visit, and others have dealt with severe health issues during this pandemic. God has challenged us not to be so spoiled and return to what is really important in this life.

    Maintaining Balance
    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
    Scripture: Philippians 4:11-13 (NLT)

Today consider the consistent theme in Jesus’ response to Satan’s temptations. For Jesus, serving His Father was most important. He chose not to give in to physical pleasure (in the sense that we do); the need to prove to the world that He was the Son of God; or the need for power or fame. These things were not as important to Him as serving His Father. To get into BALANCE, we must be in BALANCE with our relationship with our Father.
