Praise and Worship is What We Do—I Want to be a True Worshipper
Speaker: Pastor Barbara
Scripture: John 4:23-24 (NIV)

Worship is a way of life. What we worship forms the basis of our total philosophy in life. It controls our body, soul, and spirit. What we worship is that which our life is focused upon more than anything else. We submit to the object of our worship. We become obligated and yield control to it.

    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
    Scripture: John 4:23-24 (NIV)

How many of us have spoken too quickly and said something before we thought better of it? There have been times when what came out of my mouth should have remained in my brain. The reason why we watch what we say and even the manner in which we say it is because there is power in the spoken word.  You can tell a lot about a person’s spiritual state by the words that come out of their mouth.

For every cause, there is an effect. It is no different when it comes to our worship. There are many causes to worship the Lord and many effects that result from that worship.

    The Prayer of Faith
    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
    Scripture: James 5:13-18 (NKJV)

Some folks like to make God the scapegoat for their problems in life.  When we are faced with these issues, what stops us from going right to prayer?  Could it be an issue of trust? Do we not trust that God will take care of things in His time? I know, we want it when we want it, we want to see the person who caused our issues to suffer now.  The Prayer of Faith can change the things we go through in this life.

    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
    Scripture: Isaiah 62:6-7 (NIV)

We must be willing to meet God’s conditions and stay before Him until our change comes.  Then we will experience ANSWERED PRAYERS!

Prayer the Mighty Weapon of Choice in Warfare—Breakthrough Prayers
    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
    Scripture: James 5:13-20 (NASB)

People, prayer is power. Much prayer is much power, little prayer is little power, no prayer is no power. We’re nothing more than a religious country club until we know something of the posture of prayer.

Prayer the Mighty Weapon of Choice in Warfare—Prayer a Mighty Weapon for the Believer
    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
    Scripture: Ephesians 6:18 (NKJV)

God clearly tells us that the conflict we’re waging is a spiritual battle and our weapons are not carnal.  The Bible says they are mighty to the pulling down of strongholds.  Therefore, there is no greater work that you can do for your family, your church, your pastor, or you than to use PRAYER A MIGHTY WEAPON FOR THE BELIEVER.
