Say Amen, Church—Linked via Facebook
Speaker: Pastor Barbara
Scripture: Revelation 3:14 (NKJV)

The word AMEN is a most remarkable word. It was transliterated directly from the Hebrew into the Greek of the New Testament, then into Latin and into English and many other languages, so that it is practically a universal word.  Truth be told we say Amen quite frequently, but usually we don’t even think about it. Take a moment and think about how many times you have said Amen just today.

    Scripture: John 15:12-13 (NLT)

What a lot of us miss most of the time is the fact that our spirit man is hungry, and he desperately needs to be fed. Why? Because it’s our spirit man who is engaged in the spiritual battle. The spirit man is engaged in daily battle against… the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12

    Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:18 (NKJV)

If we want to make a difference in the natural realm of our living, we have to start with the spiritual first. These weapons have divine power not natural power, but divine power to demolish strongholds.

    Scripture: Psalm 85:8 (NIV)

The medical professional will tell us to listen to our bodies because it will let us know if something isn’t right that’s the reason, we do self-examinations. The auto mechanic will tell you to listen to your automobile because certain sounds will indicate something is wrong. I have a word for the people of God as we head into the next year, and it is a simple word with a very serious impact upon our very lives and that word is LISTEN.

    Scripture: Habakkuk 3:2, 13-15, 17-19 (NKJV)

Triumphant Faith is the result of going from Tested Faith – putting Faith Into Action – Living by Faith – to expressing Joy. Triumphant Faith is not instant faith; sometimes it takes a long time, but it always wins in the long run. Triumphant Faith is not having won the battle yet, it has not yet been victorious yet in the midst of the battle, storm, struggle, or war you can YET PRAISE GOD because you know without a shadow of doubt that you will win, because you understand that all things work for good to them who are the called according to His purpose.

    Scripture: Habakkuk 2:4 (AMP)

When one is Living By Faith on a regular basis it produces stability deep within the soul. Over time, God’s Word becomes more and more real to you and more important than our ever-changing feelings or circumstances. God’s Word gives us a basis for strength and stability in our thinking, the choices we make daily, and therefore, gives us the ability to stand during uncertain times.

    Scripture: Habakkuk 2:1-4

Habakkuk is a man waiting for an answer from God. God gives him 3 instructions; however, before he receives his instructions he must get into the proper position, once in position he receives these 3 instructions: Write, Wait, and Remember.  Put your Faith in Action!

    Scripture: Habakkuk 1:1-12

This evening I want to dive into a series dealing with Faith in Uncertain Times. Possibly for the next 2 to 3 weeks I am going to be teaching from the book of Habakkuk. In this series it is my desire to pull from this book something that will help you search for the heart of God and not just His hand. During times of uncertainty, heartache, stress, grief, despair, and anxiety it may seem that we are in this all by ourselves. Your friends have forsaken you; family members may have turned their backs on you, and it may even seem that God isn’t listening to you. The question becomes… How do we have Faith in Uncertain Times.

    Give God Thanks
    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
    Scripture: Psalm 92:1-2, 4 (NKJV)

This lesson explores the reasons we have to Give God Thanks. Our choice to give God thanks should not rest on Him doing something for us - but for what He has already done through His Son and what He continues to do.
