Are You Giving God Eggs or Bacon (Part 2)
    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
    Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NKJV)

Do you love Jesus more than anything else? Jesus said if we put anything before Him then we are not worthy of Him. That’s what Jesus said. However, we say that as long as we give Him something anything then we are good. I can do whatever I want as long as I give God my eggs on time service, money, good deeds. God desires our bacon because if we are giving Him bacon, the eggs will follow. Are you giving God EGGS OR BACON?

    God’s Plumbline Standard For Living
    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
Scripture: Amos 7:7-8, Numbers 23:19 (NKJV)

Do you realize that God has His own standard for how we should live. In the scripture it speaks of a plumbline, which is used to ensure that what is being built is straight, centered, and balanced enabling the structure to fulfill its purpose. Spiritually it’s the same for us and we must measure up to God’s standard alone.

Blessed In The Midst Of Trouble
    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
Scripture: Job 14:1, John 14:1-6 (NKJV)

Living in the kingdom of God doesn’t mean we won’t face trials, disappointments and attacks from Satan. What it does mean is that we have an example to follow – Jesus Christ – in dealing with these situations. When troubles arise, remember God is standing by. You are blessed, not because you are so good and have earned it, but because you are a child of God.

    Our God Is Unchangeable
    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
Scripture: Hebrews 13:8, Malachi 3:6 (NKJV)

If God were sometimes sympathetic and occasionally helpful, we would not depend on Him. That is what finite human friends sometimes do - but OUR GOD IS UNCHANGEABLE, we can trust Him, depend upon Him, lean on Him, cast all our cares upon Him and He will never change, He will never stop Loving, He will never gossip, He will never walk away.

Come On Church, Keep On Singing
    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
Scripture: Psalm 137:1-4, James 5:13 (NIV)

People all over the world love to sing. It’s a mood lifter and anti-depressant with no side effects. Singing isn’t an option in Scripture. It’s a command. When we sing, we declare war against our adversary.

    When The Storm Is Over
    Speaker: Pastor Barbara
    Scripture: Mark 4:35-40 (NKJV)

In Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poem entitled., The Rainy Day we find this famous line which says… Into each life some rain must fall… meaning that everyone will have trouble and heartache at some point. Just as sure as the sun will shine tomorrow, just as sure as the breath you just took, just as sure as death is inevitable – the storms and trials of life are sure to come your way. None of us are exempt from the storms of life.
